I made Jam!

... Or maybe its more technically jelly.  As it doesn't move much when I turn the jar upside down.
It spreads Ok and tastes quite good, if I do say so myself.

I got most of the seeds out, you can see the only one I think slipped through and I think that jar also has a few lemon pips in it too. Its made from the plums I posted here, well some of them.

I'll share the recipe sometime soon. I'm thinking a second try is in order.

  1. Congratulations on being a jam maker! Do you know that when one of my grandsons eats jam he gets a rash around his mouth? But not with Grandma's homemade jam.

  2. By my way of thinking, not a lot of movement is GOOD. Runny jam is the pits. Way to go, lady.

  3. Yay, you did it! Jam making is such a big learning curve (at least I found it to be so), it takes a few goes to become comfortable with it. Enjoy your jammy journey, Tammy! :)
