To Market, to market ...

To sell off all the pre loved furniture , clothing and toys that my children no longer need or use. Today is the Canberra baby and Kids Market. 9am - 12pm in the Fitzroy Building at Exhibition Park.
This is what our hall looked like yesterday afternoon. Change table, play mat, stroller, high chair and porta cot. No I'm not trying to sell my sewing machine, the box is full of toys as is the one above it and on top of that is the dining table booster.
There was also a baby floor rocker and other toys.

This is during the process of the sorting of clothes. I have  a lot of everyday boy clothes on offer and some more special little girl pieces for younger ones.

I am so glad to have the opportunity to clear this clutter from our lives, make a little money from it and pass it on as a bargain to others who need it but I did suddenly become quite and reflective yesterday as I realised what a lot of history there is in these items that are leaving our home. I know the real history is in the memories ... but these are often the things that trigger those memories.

Hope you all have a great weekend.
