March's Birthday girl. A slightly more tricky one for me I know she is going for experiences over things and has been streamlining things in her home. Her family is heading off on a caravanning adventure soon so I kept this gift simple and practical in line with her requests.
I sent a really large wash cloth I crochet up in Lily sugar and cream variegated cotton it is sumptuous and thick. I added a picot border in Bendigo woollen mills 8 ply cotton with was tonally a perfect match for the yellow in the Sugar and Cream yarn.
I also gifted this little lined journal, it has lined pages and a toadstool at the corner of each page. I thought she may be able to use for recording the trip or aspects of it, and of course there was a handmade card.
I hope Mel had a delightful Birthday, likes her gifts and enjoys the impending top end adventure :)
What a lovely gift, Tammy. You are very talented and I am sure the gift will be much appreciated.ReplyDelete
