New couch, new cushions.

Yesterday I finally got around to sewing up the new covers for the old cushions, to freshen them up for our new lounge.

The fabric is from the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird range.

The couch is actually more of a deep mushroom brown but I can't get it to look anything but grey in my photos. I'll probably show it in the room we when finish tweaking the placement and get our old falling down curtains removed and the new blinds delivered and installed.

This geometric flower print is my absolute favourite design in the range.
I'm probably going to use some in my next hand bag - I'll just have to be careful not to sit it on the couch or it could get lost ; )

Its grey and rainy. A head cold has settled upon me. I'm not liking it but soldiering on.
I seem to have a revived sewing bug too. I have a coat pattern here for Little Mr a dress summer for Miss and another dress for myself. The kids things are Oliver and S patterns the packaging is so wonderfully cute! I also have another neck warmer for myself swimming around in my head and am a bit of a loss with no WIP on my knitting needles now.

  7. I love that range! I have all of it in anticipation of making a 'big bed' quilt for my daughter for when she moves out of her cot. I really love how it's full of colour yet it's still a bit muted. Lovely cushions :-)
