My sewing project was a library bag makeover for Mr 3. It has been a long time since I personalised Miss 5's bag and after He spent a day with grandma and had a visit to the library with her I thought it was high time to do his too.
I followed the same basic process of using the original canvas cotton tote given to him by the Govt. when he was one. I turned it inside out to form the lining and added some fabric strip's to the handles to tie them in. I also added a pocket to the inside of his given the idea by my blog friend Abby.
He seems quite happy with it and said with such enthusiasm 'Grandma will be so excited to see it!'
I have been given two blog awards and was luck to win a give away too, I hope to post the awards on soon.

ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! I have a similar fabric to that, but with a lighter background, for my son's bedroom curtains. It's just so cheerful looking, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bag! And a very useful pocket inside for that library card you can never seem to find....
