So I thought to myself what will I post for my creative space this week. My mind jumping back to Tuesday when our neighbour visited and my kids telling him several times 'NO! thats mummy's', or 'thats mummy's special thing don't touch it' ... etc. My creative pursuits are spread all around or living/dining area right now ...
My current sewing project and associated fabric etc ...
Location : - On top of Toy box in lounge/dining room.
Yummy, yummy cotton, my first order from here and recently received.
Location:- Ironing Board. ( On the ironing cover not the sewing cover )
My Knitting, A parcel of goodness from Deb, A parcel of goodness from Coffeee, some crochet I started out of the envelope the yarn arrived and then popped it back in and here it still sits.
Location:- By the printer on the end of the desk, most of it awaiting allocation to a more permanent home or there as it is a WIP.
looks a lot like home. i like to spread the creative loveReplyDelete
It can be tricky to find room when you have a head full of ideas and a house full of people! Better a house lived in than a tidy house I say!ReplyDelete
Hehe, what's a home unless it's got creativeness everywhere ;)ReplyDelete
I've heard of someone transforing an old caravan into their creative spot! It's something i'm going to invest in if i can find a small enough one -x-
Great post Tammy and I completely identify with it. My favourite is the project started straight out of the bag and then popped back in for later. Love it.ReplyDelete
I like your way of being creative-all-over the-place!!hehe- I've become such a neat-freak, I think I miss the joy of this!Have a lovely day-ReplyDelete
By the way, did you discover what 'meme' means- I would love to find out as well!
ha ha! The kids are funny!ReplyDelete
And yes, your space does look a lot like mine - busy busy busy!!
My things seem to have the spreading habit too! My ironing board features in my creative space this week too although yours is much neater than mine! xReplyDelete
ironing boards are the perfect height for all projects I reckon and mine is always covered in everything but ironing.ReplyDelete
Glad you're not the only one to 'decorate' the house with craft supplies and WIPs!!ReplyDelete
Looks like you can pick up inspiration where ever you are in the house! I like the way your craft is part of everyday life, as it should be. And your children will grow up knowing that it's important too! xoReplyDelete
I love having my projects spread around the place, so you get little reminders of what's on the go as you wander about doing other tasks. Very charming!ReplyDelete
what are you going to make with all that lovely Aussie cotton? I added to my stash too a few weeks ago when it was on sale!ReplyDelete
my home is the same at the momentReplyDelete
Love that little toy box. Looks like you're multi-tasking like me! xo m.ReplyDelete
Yes...it grows on us....good to see you are normal darling...xxReplyDelete
ooh i love the bendy cotton - i just finished making a little cardi out of it and it knit up beautifully!ReplyDelete
Looke like my house, have a project of some typpe in nearly every room...I need to collect them up from all over and place in 2-3 ok...4-5 places! It would be nice to have a seperate room as there is no way I'm willing to weed out the stash!ReplyDelete
Love the look of your things sitting around waiting for that extra bit of crafty time...Nothing wrong with having it handy wherever you are in the house when the moment presents itself :)ReplyDelete
Funny how hard it is to contain crafts. Love the look of that cottonReplyDelete
Our lives get full of lots of stuff. And, my sewing and crafting stuff is my favorite. I finally have gotten all my crafting stuff in one area and my sewing stuff in another. But, it has taking a while to do that!ReplyDelete
Have a fun day!
Bits of craft everywhere...it's perfect. Love the kiddie comments-so true!ReplyDelete
It's so fun to find like-minded people on the internet!!ReplyDelete
It looks like you always have a project on hand, the best therapy in the world!
LOL - yes, it looks familiar. I have similar house decorations here :)ReplyDelete
