Crochet Hexagon Blanket - Update

Last Month I got the itch to go back and do some more work on this Blanket. I ordered the rest of the yarn I think I will need to finish it and started working up little hexagons. I created a half hexagon to fill the gaps on 2 of the sides. I've yet to work out how to fill the triangular spaces on the other sides, I'm not making all of my sides flat yet. I still need to add some size, it almost fits across my bed now, I think two more lengthwise rows will make it a nice size for a topper and two or three rows added to the length should finish it. plan to do a simple border of some sort but haven't thought too much about that yet. While I do love this project, I feel my interest waning again. Though I have no doubt it will be my 'go to' project once winter hits. It's lovely to have over my lap as I work on it. Duck Egg Blue

We painted a wall in the bedroom too! After - Dulux Duck Egg Blue We had to as it had a big tan-ish test colour patch on it as well as the discolouration from a large framed picture I showed you earlier in the year. When I just went looking for these before pictures I was slightly horrified to see they were taken in Jan! Has it really been a whole year?? Well, as the camera doesn't lie yes it has been that long. Before Our original plan was to do a Tan feature wall in a cream/white room. The walls and ceiling have always been pale blue and as we are robbed of time to go with our original plan we opted for a deeper shade of blue for the feature wall as seen in the top image. Its Dulux Duck Egg Blue. A very Pretty blue, ever so slightly grey shade.

More about Intention.

Sometimes you can have good intentions and things don't go according to plan. I don't want to be using the word in that context of excuse for self failure or not following through ... 'Well I had good intention' ... for example to do this bread bag tutorial for the Down To earth girls. The reason what I read yesterday jumped out at me and it became clear why Intention had been shouting inside my head 'Choose me , Choose me' Was because I saw that its about planning, about thinking forward, laying some mental groundwork that goes along with the idea. Deliberate, Goal and purpose wore words that jumped out. Intention is more than having a good idea and saying I'll do it sometime soon. Now its thinking about what is involved, assessing the time constraints and other commitments, its considering the process not just the end result. In doing this I take pressure off myself.
