This was the perfect opportunity to scrap the photos of the day our dining room view was destroyed when our neighbour cut down the towering tree in his front yard with a cherry picker and chainsaw because it was overhanging his house and had been assesed by an arborist as dangerous.
Little Miss and I sat for breakfast each day looking at the tree waiting for the cockatoos to emerge from their nest, most days they were already there fussing around near the opening. She would say excitedly "Look mum a Cockatoo bird !" It made me really sad the day she said it and I saw the cherry picker outside as I knew it would be the end of our little bird watching routine
