A little studio time

We have been lucky to get a few lovely warm days lately so I have been out in the studio sewing for a couple of hours each day, its good to be at my machine again. As my studio space is an enclosed Verandah that is not sealed in entirety it is freezing in winter and boiling in summer. But now it is just right! I had cut this out and done most of the bodice in January or Feb and grabbed it down and finished it yesterday. I adore this Moda Sophie range of Fabric.

Today I spent a couple of hours re directing the wild wisteria along in the opposite direction to help shade the hot end for when summer arrives. I twisted and twined metres upon metres of it so I do hope it doesn't get too heavy and all fall down once those buds grow and bloom.

This dress is a new pattern, well technically it is a very old pattern by Simplicity for Penny Brite, its just that I only recently received it and this is the second item I have sewn this style. So A new pattern for me. :)

I'm getting a lovely collection of Vintage Mcall patterns for skipper and Vintage simplicity for 8 and 9 inch dolls now. I hope to share them here sometime soon as I hope to just get back to more regular blogging. If you are still here reading I'd love a hello to know who stopped by. :)
