A bit of This and that

My Creative Space this week consists of stolen moments, thanks to two, once again, sick kiddos and an unwell partner.

My Baktus scarf  is slowly getting longer.

I managed to Bake a loaf of Bread Yesterday.

There was the arrival of three new stamp sets, two new cutting dies and the purchase of some good strong interfacing for some fabric projects I have in mind.

There was also some Magnet making : )

We recently purchased a new addition to Little Mr's wooden train collection from an online store and this pack of chipboard shapes came in the package with compliments. Our boy loves his magnets to play with so I got out some of the left over self adhesive sheet from when I did the cupboard doors and stuck the chipboard to it, then simply ( roughly ) trimmed with scissors and craft knife in the tricky bits. Volia!

  4. What a great idea for the magnets. I'm thinking of doing something similar with all the free magnets we keep getting given and some of my kids' drawings. Not sure how long they will last though! Did you varnish yours?

  8. I tried making a Baktus scarf earlier this year but felt that I did such a sloppy job that I frogged it. I may try it again at some point.

  13. That scarf is looking gorgeous Tammy, if it is anywhere near as cold there as it is here you need to finish it quickly. I'm just getting back into bread making and I am loving the way the house smells, bet yours does too.
