My Creative Space.

Here is my current WIP.
Totally different to my original idea of Satchel, totally inspired by the bag it replaces ... seen here behind. The paper version serves it purpose well but its getting a little ratty and is un necessarily deep.

I just have to work out the handle placement and attach them, my mind is ticking over with options so I just need to settle on one. LOL

I plan to use it to carry my knitting, I travel on busses a lot.

It also fits my current crochet project and reading material nicely too.

For what I am doing now its a perfect fit and it would also hold my embroidery floss cases and a small hoop nicely ... if ... when ... I start embroidery again.

Its soft sided in contrast to its boxy shape and that poses no inconvenience and perhaps works to an advantage as it folds over on itself when sitting in the cupboard at work or floor at home so my work isn't gathering dust.

I see a lot more bags in my future and a growing stash of stabiliser options too.

  14. Looks fabulous Tammy. 'Tis the season for swapping knitting for embroidery you know. Isn't it great to be able to use your transport (and any other waiting) time for creativity?! I'm infatuated with the idea of making bags but I've yet to dive in and try one. The colours on this one are fantastic - perfect for the cheery weather ahead. xxx

  19. How cool that your fancy bag was inspired by a paper bag. And that it is just what you need. Possibly the perfect bag!! If you can't decide on the handles, are two options possible???....
